Customer Focus (B2B/B2C Classification) 🛍️

Introducing our B2B/B2C Classification feature—a valuable tool for venture capital and private equity investors to quickly identify whether a company targets businesses (B2B) or consumers (B2C).

We developed a custom AI model specifically designed to handle the unique challenges of companies that serve both businesses and consumers, including tricky edge cases. That's why we categorize companies using the following labels:

B2B: Companies that provide products or services primarily to other businesses rather than directly to individual consumers.
B2B (Primary) / B2C (Secondary): Companies primarily focused on providing products or services to other businesses (B2B) but also have a secondary line of offerings that target individual consumers (B2C).
B2C: Companies that sell products or services directly to individual consumers.
B2C (Primary) / B2B (Secondary): Companies primarily focused on selling products or services to individual consumers (B2C), with a secondary business model that also caters to other businesses (B2B).
